According to the latest Media Create data, for the week ending May 4, Nintendo's Mario Kart Wii sold another 173,000 units in Japan, bringing its total to 1,120,000. Additionally, both Wii Fit and Capcom's Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (PSP) are quickly approaching the two million sales mark.
On the hardware front, the PSP's surge is continuing as Sony's portable outsold all other platforms with 100,870 units sold for the week, nearly double the DS Lite's total of 52,542.
